Anyone who watched NBA all-star weekend will remember tthe 5′9″ Nate Robinson dunking over the 6′10 Dwight Howard to win the Dunk Contest.
In true showmanship, Nate Robinson donned an all green get up to represent “kryptonite” to defeat Howard as Superman.
What’s got us buzzed are the very slick looking “Kryptonite Nike Foamposite Lite” sneaks that Nate was sporting during the dunk off.
Good to see Nike working with TimeWarner/DC Comics to produce these fly kicks. No word yet if there will ever be a wide release or be just exclusive to Nate Robinson.
But speaking of Nate, watch his encore dunk over Letterman stage manager Biff Henderson on the “The Late Show with David Letterman”.
Now as impressive as it is to jump over someone to slam it home. Obviously jumping over Biff Henderson, who is clearly shorter than Nate, isn’t as impressive as doing it over someone who’s a good foot and change taller. Either way....enjoy the clip.....
