@GORILLI - #Rotterdam
Amsterdam was the plan, Kendrick the reason and Rotterdam a trip you have to do if you have the time to. THE24CLUB took the chance and went on the about 1 hour trip to Rotterdam in order to visit our friend Dony at Gorilli. Keep your head up and your eyes open, can't miss the impressive architecture in one of the major port towns in all Europe.
Gorilli started off as online store and is now a concept store, located in the heart of Rotterdam, with an sophisticated and contemporary selection of Urban Street Wear and a ready-to-ink corner. You'll find some gear like Pharrell's Billionaire Boys Club / Ice Cream, Hype Means Nothing from Pairs, Original Fake by KAWS or Comme Des Garcons PLAY. "Nike Deadstock" is maybe also something to check for at Gorilli, an info for all sneaker addicts out there.

#Grafik13 recap
These past four days at Grafik13 have been filled with pleasure, creativity, good vibes and over 6500 visitors. We attended the opening on Thursday to find a fully crowded place not even an hour after they unlocked the doors. The volume and variety of work on display was astonishing, you could find anything from full digital illustrations to fully handmade paintings, a really nice mix curated by Harun 'Shark' Dogan. Grafik 13 is aimed at capturing the current swiss trends of grafic desing, visual art, typography and illustration. The whole weekend was high lighted by various live activities where visitors had the chance to meet and greet visual artists and watch them as they create. We enjoyed it a lot and look forward to come back next year for Grafik14.

@PHARRELL: "PLACES AND SPACES I'VE BEEN" by @Rizzolli_Books
"Places and Spaces I've Been" is a timeline of Pharrell William's traveling all over the world. It's a documentary of a visionary; ambitious is an understatement when it comes to the rapper, designer,
recording artist, and producer who now adds author to his list of
accomplishments.
“The motivation for me is them telling me what I could not be / Oh well /
I’m so ambitious,” sings Pharrell Williams on a track from Jay-Z’s The
Blueprint 3 album.
Pharrell: Places and Spaces I’ve Been (the title originated from the Donald Byrd song “Places & Spaces”) is an imaginative homage to the influencer’s endless collaborations, artistic innovations, and mind-bending style. Pharrell quotes at GQ interview this year: "It’s just things and people that have moved me and inspired me around the world and that I am also honored to know."
The book features Buzz Aldrin, Toby Feltwell, Zaha Hadid, Shae Haley, Chad Hugo, Jay-Z, Masamichi Katayama, Patrick Li, Ambro Medda, Takashi Murakami, NIGO, Loic Villepontoux, Kanye West, Anna Wintour and Hans Zimmer.
One of the coolest pictures is most definitely the one Karl Lagerfeld's rocking Billionaire Boys Club/IceCream’s, sagging black jeans and oversize T-shirt, pocket chains, and gold lamé gloves from the line’s fall 2008 collection.
The cover is slick. The pictures are dope. The "Mink and Ermine" story speaks my mind. The stories inspiring. It's def. a piece of literature THE24CLUB will add to his library.
